Corravahan: Architecture & History

Explore the architecture and history of a historic early Victorian house, built in the late-Georgian style.

Dating from 1840, and carefully conserved over the past fifteen years, Corravahan is a fitting tribute to William Farrell, sometime architect to the Board of Ecclesiastical Commissioners in the archdiocese of Armagh. The house is a fine and intact example of classical architecture, with connections to the Beresford and Leslie families, and retains many of its original details and fittings.

Tours of Corravahan have been specially arranged for Heritage Week 2019.
